DESCRIPTION:    The genius of The Second City will once again take over the Kirk Douglas Theatre as the legendary comedy theatre group delivers its special brand of holiday cheer with “A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!” The reloaded and re-twisted production features Scrooge, the Cratchits and all the time-traveling ghosts normally found in Dickens’ uplifting holiday fare while breathing new life into the classic tale with celebrity guests, audience-interactive improvisation, a few new characters and a festive party atmosphere in the lobby.

DATES/TIMES:    Previews Begin December 8. Opens December 12.
Continues through December 29, 2013.
Previews: (December 8-11)
Sunday at 7 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Opens December 12 at 8 p.m.
Regular Performances (Beginning December 13):
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday at 8 p.m.; Thursday at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.; Saturday at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.; Sunday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. No performance on Mondays.
Exceptions: Added 8 p.m. performance on Monday, December 23. No performances on Tuesday, December 24 or Wednesday, December 25.
