Taking The Mantra of “Don’t Stop The Party” To Heart, Music’s Hottest Tour Of The Year Will Now Return For A Second Set Of Concert Dates Beginning In January 2015 – Once Again Featuring New Chart-Topping Urban / Latin Star J Balvin Opening.

“Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull’s concert stands as the best of the year in terms of pure enjoyment …a nonstop, nearly four-hour, super-sexy, dance party in which the high energy never waned”
Las Vegas Sun

“Mr. Worldwide joins Enrique Iglesias and J. Balvin for an unstoppable night of excitement…the beat never wavered and the stadium was never seated
Rolling Stone

“A dynamite doubleheader… stacked with recent chart-toppers,” Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull’s critically-acclaimed Fall 2014 North American Tour just completed its first set of dates this week, after numerous SOLD-OUT arena concerts across the country – including Madison Square Garden, Miami’s American Airlines Arena, TWO Nights At Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center, and many more. Now, with overwhelming fan demand and Enrique Iglesias’ smash single “Bailando” breaking the chart record for most weeks (26) at #1 on Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” chart, the “high-speed rollercoaster of contagious energy and sex appeal” will keep the “non-stop dance party” going with newly added dates in 2015.

“With these two rocking the house, why even put chairs in the arena? No one uses them. [They] had the sold-out audience dancing from the floor to the rafters. Hit after hit after hit”
OC Register

Pitbull & Enrique Iglesias – Madison Square Garden, Better Than: Derek Jeter’s last game in Yankee Stadium… everyone felt like they had just experienced their wildest club night in a while.”
Village Voice

“Enrique & Pitbull were unstoppable in L.A. They performed to a full house two nights at STAPLES CENTER. 35,000 people came to dance and sing with the world’s two most acclaimed Latin artists”
La Opinion

“Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull packed the arena for a non- stop dance party …a high-speed rollercoaster of contagious energy and sex appeal for three hours+ of nonstop hits”
Oakland Press

“A Full House for Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull …The stage was filled with music, dance, and contagious energy in a night that will not be forgotten by the 18,000 fans that attended”
El Diario

“Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull deliver dynamite doubleheader …sometimes it’s just too hard to pick only one side. Why bother, when you can split your affection between two superstars on the same evening?”
San Jose Mercury News

“Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull blasted a packed house with two-dozen monster hits. The pair combined to perform for a solid three and a half hours stacked with recent chart-toppers …with both acts sweeping the crowd up into a bumping, bopping mass of dance-mania”
Star-Ledger (NJ)

“The show marked a new level of excellence for both [artists]. Iglesias rocked harder than ever… one for his highlight reel… Pitbull wasted no time reminding everyone that he’s Mr. Worldwide… Immediately, hands were in the air, arms were flailing and nearly every booty was shaking and quaking. The screams were deafening throughout the set, as they were for Iglesias earlier
…As astonishing as it is to see thousands erupt into joyous dancing, song-to-song, it’s equally cool hearing many of them singing and rapping to every single lyric.”

“DAME EDNA’S GLORIOUS GOODBYE – THE FAREWELL TOUR”
AT THE CTG / AHMANSON THEATRE JANUARY 24 – MARCH 15, 2015

“Dame Edna’s Glorious Goodbye – The Farewell Tour” At The Ahmanson Theatre

“The most purely enjoyable night of the year,”
The New York Times
“The house roars…I salute her,”
The New Yorker
“Razor sharp brilliance,”
The Australian

Tickets go on sale this Sunday, November 2, 2014, for “Dame Edna’s Glorious Goodbye – The Farewell Tour,” which begins previews at the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre on January 24, opens January 28 and continues through March 15, 2015.
In a side-splitting, historic finale, Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries) is capping a spectacular career spanning 50 years of bravura showmanship in this farewell celebratory show. “Dame Edna’s Glorious Goodbye – The Farewell Tour” will give audiences the chance to bid farewell to the incomparable Dame Edna, arguably Australia’s greatest entertainment export.
Surrounded by spectacular sets and gorgeous, talented dancers, Dame Edna keeps her audience enthralled and “in stitches” with her sparkling wit, mischievous wisdom and razor-sharp banter. With her take-no-prisoners comedy and hijinks, Dame Edna is not going out with a whimper: No one is safe from the Dame’s wicked tongue.
This brand new show is directed by award-winning Simon Phillips, who directed the original “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” and is currently directing “First Wives Club,” with design by Tony Award-winning Brian Thomson, who designed the original Australian and London productions of “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “The Rocky Horror Show,” as well as the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games.
“Dame Edna’s Glorious Goodbye – The Farewell Tour” opened to rave reviews in Australia and moved to adoring crowds in London and throughout the UK, where Neil Norman of the Daily Express said, “I almost asphyxiated myself with laughter,” and Mark Shenton of the Sunday Express said Dame Edna is “a comic, cosmic wonder.” John Lahr of The New Yorker paid tribute, “Dame Edna may leave the stage, but she will never leave my heart. I love her. I honor her. I cherish the high times she has made for me and millions of others.”
Dame Edna is one of the greatest stars of the last 50 years, winning a Tony Award for her Broadway show, “The Royal Tour.” The “housewife superstar” has played the West End and Broadway on numerous occasions, performing to packed theatres including the Royal Albert Hall at the “Last Night of the Poms,” and the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane as well as countless performances for the Royal Family. Television credits include the now legendary UK special, “A Night on Mt. Edna” and two series of her own innovative chat show, “The Dame Edna Experience,” with special guests Cher, Roseanne Barr, Sean Connery, Mel Gibson and the late Robin Williams.
Her books include “Dame Edna’s Coffee Table Book,” “Dame Edna’s Bedside Companion” and her seminal autobiography, “My Gorgeous Life,” which is currently being adapted for the stage and screen. Possibly Jewish, Dame Edna is a widow, with three grown children. She spends her time visiting world leaders and jet-setting between her homes in Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Switzerland and Martha’s Vineyard. She is the Founder and Governor of Friends of the Prostate and the creator of The World Prostate Olympics.

TICKETS FOR “ELEPHANT ROOM” GO ON SALE THURSDAY, JULY 26

WEST COAST PREMIERE AT THE KIRK DOUGLAS THEATRE

Performances Run August 22 through September 16, 2012

Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 26 for “Elephant Room” at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.  Bringing pure, unadulterated fun and transforming the space into a mystical place of wonder and amusement, “Elephant Room” runs August 22 through September 16, 2012.  The opening is set for August 26.

The West Coast premiere of this “enchantingly goofy collaboration” (Alexis Soloski, Village Voice) by Trey Lyford, Geoff Sobelle and Steve Cuiffo will star magicians Louie Magic, Daryl Hannah and Dennis Diamond, and is directed by Paul Lazar.

“Elephant Room,” which was called “delightfully daft” by Eric Grode of The New York Times, was commissioned by Center Theatre Group and workshopped as “Next Stop Amazingland” in DouglasPlus in November 2009.

By turns fresh, silly and profound, “Elephant Room” is set in a basement rec room where three semi-pro conjurers hang out and practice their tricks with varying competence.  These self-deluded illusionists are brimming with childlike wonder and undeserved self-confidence, but there is something mysterious about their Elephant Room. Things are not as they seem.  “It gets weird, but it’s an enjoyable, laugh-out-loud kind of weird,” said Gwendolyn Purdom, of the Washingtonian. Grode said, “. . . their lovable-loser shtick as well as their nifty skills help turn ‘Elephant Room’ into one of the coolest places in town.

” Center Theatre Group presented “all wear bowlers,” created and performed by Trey Lyford and Geoff Sobelle, in the Kirk Douglas Theatre’s second season in September-October 2005. Lyford and Sobelle are joined by magician and actor Steve Cuiffo in the creation of “Elephant Room.” “Elephant Room” premiered at Philadelphia Live Arts in September 2011 and was presented at the Arena Stage, Washington, D.C., in January 2012, and at St. Ann’s Warehouse in New York in March 2012.

Tickets for “Elephant Room” will be available by calling (213) 628-2772, online at www.CenterTheatreGroup.org, in person at the Center Theatre Group box office at the Ahmanson Theatre or two hours prior to performances at the Kirk Douglas Theatre box office. The Kirk Douglas Theatre is located at 9820 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232.
