About Daryl Hall & John Oates
From the mid-’70s to the mid-’80s, the duo would score six #1 singles, including “Rich Girl” (also #1 R&B), “Kiss on My List,” “Private Eyes,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) (also #1 R&B), “Maneater” and “Out of Touch” from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums—’76’s Bigger Than Both of Us, ’80’s Voices, ’81’s Private Eyes, ‘82’s H2O, ‘83’s Rock N Soul, Part I and ‘84’s Big Bam Boom. The era would also produce an additional 5 Top 10 singles, “Sara Smile,” “One on One,” “You Make My Dreams,” “Say It Isn’t So” and “Method of Modern Love.” By 1987, the RIAA recognized Daryl Hall and John Oates as the NUMBER-ONE SELLING DUO in music history, a record they still hold today.

On May 20, 2008, the duo was honored with the Icon Award during BMI’s 56th annual Pop Awards. The award has previously gone to the Bee Gees, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Paul Simon, Brian Wilson, Willie Nelson, James Brown, Ray Davies, Carlos Santana and Dolly Parton.

In 2014, Daryl and John were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. 2017 finds Daryl Hall and John Oates very much at the height of their powers making their own kind of soul, with a new generation of musicians recognizing not only their historic track record of success, but also their continuing influence and achievements.

About Tears For Fears
Beyond selling 30 million albums worldwide, performing to countless sold out audiences, and winning various awards, the DNA of Tears For Fears—Roland Orzabal [vocals, guitar, keyboards] and Curt Smith [vocals, bass, keyboards]—remains embedded within three generations of artists. Quietly casting a shadow over rock, hip-hop, electronic dance music, indie, and beyond, their music has been sampled by Kanye West, The Weeknd, David Guetta, Drake, and more, while getting covered by Lorde, Adam Lambert, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Gary Jules, and Disturbed, to name a few. Meanwhile, classic songs figure prominently everywhere from The Wire and Donnie Darko to Straight Outta Compton and Mr. Robot.

Representing an inimitable intersection of pop palatability, clever and cognizant lyricism, guitar bombast, and new wave innovation, their catalog spans a string of classic albums, namely the gold-certified debut The Hurting [1983], quintuple-platinum BRIT Award-winning Songs from the Big Chair [1985], and Seeds of Love [1989]. The latter proved to be Roland and Curt’s last collaboration together until Everybody Loves A Happy Ending in 2004, which rekindled the creative fire between them. Breaking another quiet spell, the boys engaged in a three-year touring whirlwind across North America, Japan, South Korea, Manila, and South America beginning in 2010. 2013 saw them return with their first recorded music in a decade: a cover of Arcade Fire’s “Ready to Start.” It proved to be a welcome addition to their three-decade discography of immortal hits ranging from “Mad World,” “Change,” and “Pale Shelter” to “Everybody Wants To Rule The World,” “Shout,” “Sowing The Seeds of Love,” and “Everybody Loves A Happy Ending.” Now, 2017 marks the beginning of a new era for the band. Signed to Warner Bros. Records, they will release their seventh full-length album, fifth for Roland and Curt together, and first in 13 years following a summer co-headline tour with Daryl Hall & John Oates.

About Allen Stone
On his third full-length album, soul artist Allen Stone proves himself deeply devoted to making uncompromisingly soulful music that transcends all pop convention.

Made in collaboration with Swedish soul singer/songwriter/phenom Magnus Tingsek, Radius captures the warm energy of that creative connection and transports the listener to a higher and more exalted plane.

Now including seven exciting bonus tracks, Radius Deluxe will be available March 25th. Among them will be the previously unreleased songs “Voodoo” and “Faithful” as well as a new version of Stone’s energetic single “Freedom”.

The New York Times said the Chewelah, Washington-bred 28-year-old’s lyrics on Radius “promise honest sentiments, grooves built with physical instruments and a gospel-rooted determination to uplift … glimmers of Al Green, Bill Withers, Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton, Prince and a bit of Sting.”

Tearing through nearly 600 shows in just two years – including sold out performances at LA’s Ace Hotel and NYC’s Apollo Theater – Allen Stone is determined to make 2017 yet another impactful year of writing and performance.

Los Angeles Kings win Stanley CupDuring the Kings’ championship rally on Monday afternoon, there was only one man sitting on the ice who got a lukewarm reception — the mayor. After emcee Bob Miller got huge cheers for introducing the team, front office personnel, and coaches to a raucous sold-out Staples Center, Eric Garcetti walked up to the podium to a mixed reaction. That is, until the end of his speech. Before he finished, Garcetti told the crowd, “They say there are two rules in politics. Never get pictured with a drink in your hand, and never swear.” Kings’ fans celebrate the 2014 Stanley Cup Caption Kings’ fans celebrate the 2014 Stanley Cup Brian van der Brug / Los Angeles Times

As he pulled out a bottle of beer, Garcetti smiled and said, “Well, this is a big [expletive] day.”

The crowd erupted into one of its biggest cheers of the afternoon, and Garcetti was back in its good graces. On Monday, at least, the road to popularity in Los Angeles ran through the Kings.

Also speaking was Luc Robitaille, the president of business operations and Kings legend, who criticized pundits who thought that the team’s 2012 championship was a flash in the pan. He assured the crowd by saying, “To all you hockey experts, we’ve got more to come. Have a good summer, and we will see you here next year.”

One of the last speeches was from President and General Manager Dean Lombardi, who lost his voice in the 2012 championship rally. This time around, he was more than ready, and said, “I feel like the luckiest man in the world,” during his speech.

While that got a good reaction, the biggest cheer of the night, though, came at the end of Lombardi’s speech. He brought Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar up to the podium, and asked them, “You won a ring in 2012 and 2014. Which one is your favorite?”

Standing behind the Stanley Cup, which will soon sport the Kings’ names on the bottom of it for the second time in three years, the duo said simultaneously, “The next one.”

Tickets for the Honda Center performance can be purchased at or by calling 800-745-3000.  Tickets will be available to purchase at the Honda Center box office beginning Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 AM.

Brandon Boyd, Grammy® nominated lead vocalist of rock band Incubus, is confirmed for the role of ‘Judas Iscariot’, Grammy® nominated *NSYNC vocalist, JC Chasez, will play ‘Pontius Pilate’, Grammy® Award winner and member of Destiny’s Child, Michelle Williams, will take the female lead as ‘Mary Magdalene’, English singer-songwriter and lead singer in Public Image Ltd. (PiL) and Sex Pistols, John Rotten Lydon, will play ‘King Herod’ and introducing British actor and singer, Ben Forster, who won England’s ITV Superstar competition in 2012 and played the lead role in the UK and Australian arena tours of Jesus Christ Superstar, will revive his role as ‘Jesus.’   With over 50 cast and musicians on stage this is one arena show that can’t be missed!

The North American leg comes on the heels of the wildly successful UK and Australian arena tours, which began in the UK in September 2012 and commenced in Australia in May 2013. The Times said  “The show gets the right balance between the spectacular, the jokey and the sincere. The performances from the well-choreographed supporting cast are fine throughout. Honestly, it’s enough to give rock opera a good name.”

The Evening Chronicle exclaimed, “the extravagance of the production, a flamboyant spectacle of acrobatics, dramatic flames and provocative pole dancing,” and Liverpool Daily Post claimed,  “Restored to its rock roots, the star-studded second coming of Jesus Christ Superstar is big, brash and bold…” and the Manchester Evening News stated, “from the very opening strains the pounding music, the huge and sophisticated video backdrops and pulsating energy from a talented ensemble cast make this a true spectacle.”

“Jesus Christ Superstar began life as a rock album…probably because nobody believed back in 1969 that you could present a stage musical about the last days of the life of Jesus Christ.  I shall never forget its first live performance in the Civic Arena, Pittsburgh on July 12th 1971.  Of course JCS subsequently became a legit theatre stalwart, but I, personally, have always hankered after seeing it again in the arenas where it started,” said Andrew Lloyd Webber.

“In 1971 Andrew and I were thrilled by the first-ever Jesus Christ Superstar tour of the United States,” said Tim Rice. “We certainly did not imagine then that 43 years later we would be witnessing another America-wide tour of our first big hit show. We are delighted and grateful that enthusiasm for Superstar has been maintained over the years and this new production presents the work in its most powerful format – as a true rock experience.”

“I’m excited to be involved with Jesus Christ Superstar,” said Michael Cohl.  “The show has evolved greatly over the past 40 years and it is exhilarating to be a part of a project that marries this incredible property and its extraordinary music with the new, innovative technology that has become available for live shows.  This arena rock spectacular is a whole new experience for fans.”

“I am so thrilled to be a part of this amazing production!” said Brandon Boyd.  “I grew up on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classics and never imagined I would be playing a role in one, let alone with such an incredibly diverse cast of players. Truly an honor!”

“When I heard Jesus Christ Superstar was coming to the States, I was excited at the idea to be a part of telling one of the most influential stories in history through the scope of such a talented composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber,” said JC Chasez.  “I’m excited to work with such a dynamic cast, and to bring Jesus Christ Superstar back to its roots as a rock arena experience.”

“I am so excited to be part of such a legendary production alongside an amazing cast!, said Michelle Williams.  “I am truly looking forward to this experience!”

“I’m here to sing with the King of the Jews, who could ask for anything more?” said John Rotten Lydon.

“I feel so excited to bring this production to North America,” said Ben Forster.  “America has to experience this rock arena spectacular as Andrew Lloyd Webber envisaged it. I am the real life Billy Elliot, from a coal mining city in the north of England to touring huge arenas across North America! You are about to witness my dream come true!”

The Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Spectacular North American Tour is presented by S2BN Entertainment and The Really Useful Group.
